About the Role

At Ekart our continuous endeavor is to provide high quality experience to the customers by increasing operational excellence. The purpose of this job role is to lead the department through planning, organizing, controlling, coordinating and coaching. The standard operating procedures are adhered to at all times.

About the Team

The Large supply chain team works towards fulfilling customer orders with best processes and lowest cost, driving Process Excellence across Flipkart business units driving cost, speed, reliability and customer experience.Distribution Center (DC) acts as an aggregation and sortation center for moving shipments from Fulfillment centers (FC) and Seller clusters to Delivery hubs across the network.

You are responsible for:

Spearheading Sortation Centre Central/Zonal Operations for Flipkart.

Planning, Design, Operationalization of New Sortation centers.

Monitor DC Operations and identify improvement opportunities.

Work closely with Logistics and Retail Operations Heads in reviewing and optimization of the distribution network.

Work with External Supply Chain experts to implement global supply chain initiatives within Flipkart. Accountable for Planning, Design, Operationalization of new optimized delivery networks and delivery flexibility with the help of central teams.

Drive continuous improvement and operationalize Business process Innovation.

Develop, mentor and motivate the team spread across locations to achieve higher goals.

Qualification

B-tech or MBA (Preferred candidates from Tier I/II MBA institutes)

8 years of experience in Courier/Supply Chain/Warehousing/Logistics Operations.

Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, prioritizing tasks effectively to achieve organizational goals.

Experience in utilizing data-driven insights to inform decision-making and drive actionable recommendations.
