Manager - UK Accounts

As a Manager in the UK Accounting Division based in Indore (Work from Office) with working hours from 1:00 PM to 10:00 PM IST, your role overview involves managing and reviewing all client deliverables, which includes financial reports and year-end accounts. You will be responsible for leading client communication, managing calls, and effectively resolving FOH/client queries. Your key responsibilities include: - Ensuring timely submission of financial schedules and statutory returns. - Performing internal reviews using standard checklists and signing off before client delivery. - Collaborating with onboarding teams to create and implement SOPs for new clients. - Overseeing setup and updates in the Task Manager system. - Monitoring and responding to emails (team & self) within 48 hours. - Preparing and tracking quarterly business plans with corrective follow-ups. - Ensuring quality assurance, compliance, and accurate reconciliation reports. - Training, mentoring, and supporting junior team members for performance and development. - Supporting performance reviews and assisting Cluster Heads with team management. - Maintaining internal processes, systems, and service standards. - Promoting a professional, disciplined, and collaborative team environment. - Being flexible to take on new processes or roles as assigned. - Ensuring smooth client onboarding and closure of all onboarding tasks. The qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. - Professional certification such as ACCA, CPA, or equivalent would be an advantage. - Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or financial management. - Strong understanding of UK accounting standards and regulations. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks. - Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, and accounting software.
