Manager - Trust Finance Operations

As a Manager - Trust Finance Operations at HSBC, you will play a crucial role in delivering compliant trust/estate administration services efficiently and professionally to client accounts. You will provide support to the Trust Finance Operations team in implementing strategies and policies to achieve business objectives. Your responsibilities will include bookkeeping, bank & security reconciliations, data maintenance, account and schedule preparations, ad-hoc reports, queries, and follow-ups. Your role will involve completing processing work in accordance with established procedures and standards, ensuring productivity and quality levels are met. You will monitor process productivity and quality, optimize resource utilization, and contribute to the achievement of business objectives. Additionally, you will be responsible for preparing management information and other business data requirements accurately within agreed timescales. As part of your duties, you will plan for effective cross-training considering global contingency requirements, review contingency plans periodically, and implement relevant business recovery measures as needed. Conducting operational risk assessments and implementing risk mitigation plans will also be key aspects of your role. To excel in this position, you should possess strong accounting knowledge and trust expertise, administrative skills, the ability to adapt to various work procedures, and a focus on process improvement and efficiency. Stakeholder management, proficiency in spoken and written English, and a post-graduate diploma or degree majoring in accounting or finance are essential requirements. You should also demonstrate a deep understanding of trust accounting, accounting policies and practices, strong operational capabilities, and familiarity with accounting systems/software.
