Manager- Toll Operation Audit

1. Monitoring and investigating the transaction discrepancies, shortages, MIS, classification, exemptions & violations on daily basis to keep these on minimum level and to check for any pilferages and leakages of toll revenue. Based on these issues, to provide the recommendations to the project operations and technical teams to achieve better results, to increase the efficiency levels and to overcome the issues.

2. Ensuring on time reporting of daily consolidated report and monthly audit MIS to Head Office and maintaining the records of all the reports/ documents. To prepare and analyse daily/weekly/ monthly traffic and revenue census along with the possible reason of traffic and revenue fluctuation.

3. Finding the revenue leakages because of any malpractice or fraud by toll operators and others is also a very important task to overcome the revenue losses to the company.

4. Analyse the traffic and revenue related issues in class wise overloaded/underloaded vehicle's traffic and penalty/overload fee collection. Reconciliation of ETC transactions for any class and revenue discrepancies and provide recommendations to concerns for the better results in favour of the company to overcome the possibility of revenue loss and for overall development of operations.

5. Preparing monthly audit schedules and manage audit team for conducting periodic audits on sites participating in the examinations on the audit observations and conclude each and every point to an agreement to all for the developments in operations and technical (TMS) areas to have batter controls on the issues.

6. Directing, leading and motivating work force and imparting continue job training for accomplishing greater auditing effectiveness and efficiency. Enforcing the process document/ audit manual/ procedure on ground to get the better and on time results within audit department. To prepare and analyse daily/weekly/monthly census along with the possible reason of traffic and revenue fluctuation.

7. Additionally, the role ensures effective deployment of emergency vehicles and compliance with safety standards for both toll staff and road users, recommending corrective measures wherever necessary.

The position also entails regular inspection of road assets, detour points, and potential toll evasion areas through both physical verification and CCTV surveillance.
