Description
As a member of the Finance & Accounting Group at Qualcomm India Private Limited, your role will involve assessing compliance of employee submissions against company policies, procedures, and external regulatory requirements in a timely and accurate manner. You will administrate the Card Management Platform, collaborate with account administrators, and perform Concur configuration activities while keeping standardization and the global Core Model in mind. Your responsibilities will also include making suggestions for improvements by analyzing current processes/systems and new Concur functionalities, performing delinquent accounts reconciliations, assessing new releases, and highlighting their impact on our environment/users. Key Responsibilities: - Assess compliance of employee submissions against company policies, procedures, and external regulatory requirements - Administer the Card Management Platform and collaborate with account administrators - Perform Concur configuration activities while keeping standardization and global Core Model in mind - Analyze current processes/systems and new Concur functionalities for improvements - Perform delinquent accounts reconciliations and manage them according to established work procedures - Assess new releases, highlight their impact, and trigger appropriate actions - Evaluate Change Requests to determine global scalability/need and enforce standards - Prepare global user communication/training materials - Assist and guide support staff on non-routine policy interpretations or transaction problems - Implement reporting procedures and internal controls for maintaining accurate records - Maintain fiscal information, files, and records for reference and audit trail - Plan daily operations management with TL/Staff, evaluate work performed, and provide direction in handling problems - Participate in establishing departmental policy - Ensure regular review of DTPs and track changes - Work closely with accounting teams in headquarters, satellite, and other global locations - Provide ad hoc reports to HQ, local controllership team, and other finance functions - Provide recommendations on process improvements in T&E and Corporate Card system - Support controllership team in external annual audits - Ensure processes and policies are compliant with Internal Audit and Sarbanes-Oxley Control requirements - Assist in quarterly reviews, periodic audits, and prepare audit schedules Qualifications Required: - Very good understanding of T&E process, Concur system, and its integration with neighboring systems - Ability to think strategically and dive deep into operational problems - Supervisory, coaching, mentoring, and training skills - Ability to solve technical and non-technical accounting problems related to AP - Accounting experience in a multi-GAAP environment and shared service center - Working experience in Concur - Excellent written and verbal fluency in English - Strong organizational and prioritization skills - Flexible approach with a strong team spirit - Effective interpersonal and communication skills - Proficient with Excel, dashboards, reporting, and analytical tools like Tableau, Celonis - Proficient IT skills including Excel and Outlook - Ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization and with external partners Minimum Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree - 7+ years of Finance, Accounting, or related work experience - Advanced degrees in a relevant field may be substituted for up to two years of work experience If you are an individual with a disability requiring accommodations during the application/hiring process, Qualcomm is committed to providing accessible support.
