As the Manager - Supply Chain Strategy you will be responsible for developing, managing, and publishing supply chain analytics for an assigned function within supply chain group, including inventory, Demand and Supply Planning. You will conduct complex data analysis to inform and empower internal stakeholders to improve operating results. You will represent and manage cross- functional analytic initiatives. You will manage staff, administer workflow process systems, and ensures department has resources to support business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Drive the Inventory Strategy to align with business objectives, ensuring key analytics are available to support data driven transformation.
- Collaborate with business leaders, stakeholders and cross-functional teams to provide actionable insights and strategic recommendations to senior management.
- Tackle complex supply chain challenges using expertise in:
- Demand and Supply planning: Enhance people, processes, and technology for optimal performance.
- Business Analytics: Apply network optimization and modelling to streamline operations.
- Process Improvement: Innovate in planning, scheduling, routing, and cycle time reduction.
- Risk Management: Proactively identify and mitigate procurement risks to maintain supply chain integrity.
- What-if analysis: Simulate various scenarios, such as spikes in demands, supply chain disruption, changes in market, macroeconomics etc. to understand their impact on business and suggest course of action to maintain optimal inventory, enhance service level and minimize costs.
- Empower Inventory SBU leaders & stakeholders with insights for more efficient, risk-averse operations.
- Question and improve traditional methods with innovative techniques and technology, enhancing supply chain processes and working capital utilization.
- Analyse market trends to guide inventory management in demand and supply planning and supply chain strategy adjustments.
- Lead a team dedicated to optimizing workflow processes and systems.
- Collaborate with the SCPO Technical Solutions team to implement best-in class planning process including Multi-Echelon Inventory Optimisation (MEIO) solutions within the Blue Yonder platform.
- Assist in developing strategic policies and procedures to enhance operational outcomes from Blue Yonder SCPO application.
- Manage reporting functions, including KPIs, lean kaizen initiatives, and special requests.
- Ensure regulatory compliance and uphold ethical standards within the supply chain function.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, supply chain, or a related field; an MBA from a premier institute like NITIE (IIM Mumbai) is preferred.
- At least 5 years of experience in supply chain transformation, with a focus on initiatives like inventory optimization, forecasting, planning, cost reduction, and network modelling.
- Familiarity with the industry landscape, including key suppliers, customers, and competitors.
- Implementation experience using SCPO Platform
- Proven ability to build relationships with decision-makers both internally and externally.
- Exceptional negotiation and analytical capabilities.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with an emphasis on coaching and conflict resolution.
- Availability for travel with limited notice.
