Job Title: Manager, Solar Ingot and wafer Production Integrated PV Manufacturing

Position Overview:

The Manager will oversee the daily operations of the Solar Ingot and wafer manufacturing production department. This role involves managing production teams, ensuring quality control, meeting production goals, and optimizing manufacturing processes in compliance with safety and environmental standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Production Management: Oversee the entire solar Ingot and wafer production process, including planning, scheduling, and monitoring production activities.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage production teams to ensure high performance, efficient workflow, and proper training.
  • Process Optimization: Continuously analyze and improve production processes for better efficiency, quality, and cost control.
  • Quality Control: Ensure products meet industry standards and company specifications by establishing and maintaining strict quality control processes.
  • Resource Management: Ensure availability of raw materials, equipment, and personnel to meet production targets. Manage inventory levels and oversee the ordering of necessary materials.
  • Safety Compliance: Implement and enforce safety protocols to create a safe working environment and comply with regulatory requirements.
  • Troubleshooting & Problem Solving: Address production issues, equipment malfunctions, and performance discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyse production data, identify trends, and generate regular performance reports. Provide insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Cost Management: Monitor production costs, implement strategies to reduce waste, improve yield, and manage budgets effectively.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with R&D, quality assurance, supply chain, and other departments to ensure seamless production and meet overall company objectives.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 14+ years in solar Ingot and wafer manufacturing or a related production environment, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
  • Technical Skills: Knowledge of solar Ingot and wafer technology, manufacturing processes
  • Leadership Skills: Strong team leadership and interpersonal skills. Ability to motivate and guide teams towards achieving objectives.
  • Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills to resolve production and process issues.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for clear reporting and interaction with various departments.
  • Attention to Detail: High attention to detail to ensure quality standards are consistently met.
  • Computer Skills: Proficiency in manufacturing software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Working Conditions:

  • Full-time position based in a production facility.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including shifts if necessary.
