Responsibilities

• Manage and mentor a team of software engineers, ensuring delivery of high-quality features in a modern SaaS environment.
• Drive adoption of Agile practices, continuous integration, and test automation across the team.
• Collaborate closely with product and QA partners to align engineering priorities with customer needs.
• Support the integration of AI/ML into product features and engineering workflows.
• Promote a culture of quality, ownership, and accountability within the team.
• Oversee release readiness, incident response, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure secure coding practices and adherence to compliance standards (SOC 2, GDPR, etc.).
• Provide input into technical architecture and implementation while enabling engineers to take ownership.
  

Requirements

• 35+ years of experience leading software engineering teams with direct people management.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Proven track record delivering cloud-native SaaS products.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, CI/CD, and DevOps principles.
• Experience with observability tools, incident management, and performance optimization.
• Familiarity with AI/ML technologies is a plus.
• Strong communication skills with a passion for coaching engineers.
• Ability to manage team schedules, balance priorities, and deliver on commitments.
