Responsibilities
We are looking for an experienced Manager, Software Development Engineering to join our Cyber Protection Team. Reporting to the Sr. Director, Software Engineering, you'll be responsible for:
- Researching and modeling In-depth cloud application and responsible for the meticulous, in-depth analysis, research, and technical modeling of new and evolving cloud applications and services
- Analysing and categorisation comprehensive website, ensures the accurate and timely categorisation of millions of websites, maintaining the integrity and relevance of our URL filtering and content inspection services
- Evaluating Performance Large Language Model (LLM) and playing a pivotal role in the future-proofing of our systems by rigorously evaluating the performance, accuracy, bias, and operational efficiency of internally developed and integrated Large Language Models.
What We're Looking For (Minimum Qualifications)
- Demonstrable understanding of cloud architectures (AWS, Azure, GCP), cloud application development lifecycle, modern web technologies (HTTP/S, APIs), and enterprise security concepts (Zero Trust, SASE)
- Proven history of mentoring, developing, and inspiring high-performing research, data science, or engineering teams. This includes managing complex projects, setting clear technical priorities
- Experience successfully leading technical teams responsible for outputting research that directly translates into product features or security controls
- Familiarity with data analysis techniques, statistical modeling, and machine learning principles, particularly as applied to content classification, threat intelligence, or behavioural analysis
- Ability to anticipate future trends in cloud adoption and cyber threats and translate those insights into a proactive research roadmap for the team
What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
- Superior verbal and written communication skills to articulate complex technical research findings to both technical and executive audiences. Ability to collaborate effectively with Product Management, Engineering, and Sales teams.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Data Science, or a related technical field. Equivalent practical experience will also be considered.
- Experience in a security vendor or research organization is highly desirable
