Manager - Real Estate and Expansion

Role Overview: As part of Licious, you will play a crucial role in driving the growth ambitions of the company by overseeing the expansion of the retail business and scouting specific locations for new offline stores. Key Responsibilities: - Contribute to cross-functional work teams and collaborate with Strategy, Marketing, and Operations to finalize expansion plans. - Utilize real estate expertise to strengthen expansion plans and evaluate retail locations based on brand fit, demographics, market demand, and footfall. - Build and maintain relationships with real estate developers and property management firms to identify potential locations for expansion. - Negotiate and finalize lease agreements with property owners for new openings and renewals. - Coordinate with various teams to execute the pre-opening phase of new business units successfully. - Plan and manage expansion workstreams by working closely with Heads of Projects, Legal & Licensing, Marketing, Operations, Finance, etc. - Demonstrate knowledge in pre-opening areas such as concept, design functionality, licenses, and compliances to ensure effective planning and execution. - Ensure timely opening of stores as per the committed cost and quality plan, handing over to the Operations team. Qualifications Required: - High school diploma or equivalent. - 10-15 years of experience in property scouting and business development. - Experience in identifying and acquiring retail spaces for market expansion. - Proficiency in end-to-end real estate strategy. - Familiarity with the retail industry.,
