Manager, Quality Engineering

As the Manager, Quality Engineering at symplr, you will lead quality initiatives for one of our strategic products. You will be responsible for devising and implementing the test strategy for regression, UI & API automation, as well as load & performance testing efforts for the product. You will work closely with engineering and the center of excellence team to ensure the highest quality standards are met. **Key Responsibilities:** - Work closely with engineering and product teams to drive quality engineering initiatives - Directly manage a team of quality engineers in Bangalore and remotely - Collaborate with onshore quality teams to align on quality strategy and execution - Provide technical direction to both onshore and offshore quality engineers - Drive test automation efforts for the product - Collaborate with the performance testing team to ensure thorough testing - Analyze test results, communicate issues, and report defects - Escalate risks and dependencies encountered during testing - Understand quality metrics and drive positive changes based on the metrics **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field - 10+ years of experience in software quality engineering - 3+ years of experience in leading and managing quality teams - Experience in working in an agile environment with distributed engineering teams - Proficiency in testing tools like Selenium Web Driver, Cucumber, Postman, JMeter, ReadyAPI - Familiarity with languages such as C#, Java, Ruby, Typescript, etc. - Experience in testing web services (REST, SOAP, etc.) - Familiarity with test management tools like Azure DevOps, Zephyr - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Proactive, passionate, and able to work in a fast-paced environment - Ability to work with minimum supervision - Highly organized, creative, motivated, and results-driven - Strong technical and analytical skills, with a good understanding of web and mobile application stacks Join symplr as the Manager, Quality Engineering to drive quality initiatives and ensure the highest standards of quality for our strategic products.,
