1. Planning of pilot trials considering availability and sizing of equipment, planning for procurement of raw materials. Review of SOP, material and energy balance prepared by process engineers.
2. Review of PFD, P&ID, consider optimum costing for the pilot trials.3. Consider process safety, conduct risk analysis and HAZOP, ensure implementation of safe working practices.4. Review of the collected data and give suggestions for process improvements.5. Review and perform calculations related to agitators, pumps, Heat duty, etc. Give data for commercialization and help in planning and commissioning of commercial scale plants. Estimate and give timelines for the same also.
1. Co-ordination with R&D and production team for pre commissioning and commissioning activities.
2. Give training to subordinates for process safety, engineering calculations, planning and conducting of trials.
