Job Title: Manager of Community Health Workers

Location: Rural Madhya Pradesh, India

Reports To: Director of Public Health

Summary:

The Manager of Community Health Workers is responsible for the overall management and supervision of a team of community health workers. The ideal candidate will have experience in public health, community health, and/or social work. The Manager of Community Health Workers will be responsible for the following:

● Developing and implementing a plan to improve the health of adolescent girls in rural Madhya Pradesh, India.● Supervising a team of community health workers.● Supervising the survey work done by community health workers to ensure accuracy and thoroughness.● Training community health workers on how to test and treat for anemia, offer deworming medications, offer bednets for malaria prevention, and offer tools to clean water.● Conducting regular field visits to monitor the progress of the project.● Preparing and submitting reports to the Director of Public Health.

Qualifications:

● Master's degree in public health, community health, or social work.● 3+ years of experience in public health, community health, or social work.● Experience in managing and supervising a team.● Experience in training and developing staff.● Experience in conducting field visits.● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.● Ability to work independently and as part of a team.● Ability to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
