Manager Networks

In this role as a Network Architect at EY, you will have the opportunity to deliver high-level network consulting services, analyze complex network requirements, and recommend tailored solutions for clients. Your responsibilities will include: - Engaging with clients to understand their business objectives, technical requirements, and network architecture needs. - Conducting thorough audits and assessments of existing network infrastructure to identify areas for improvement and potential risks. - Designing and implementing customized network solutions aligned with client requirements, industry best practices, and technology trends. - Developing detailed network design documents, including diagrams, configurations, and migration plans. - Overseeing the deployment and configuration of network solutions to ensure successful deployment within defined timelines. - Providing technical guidance and troubleshooting expertise to resolve complex network issues. - Conducting network performance analysis, monitoring, and capacity planning to optimize network performance and scalability. - Staying updated with emerging technologies and industry trends related to modern networks to make recommendations for enhancing the network infrastructure. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including project managers, engineers, and system administrators, to ensure successful project delivery. - Mentoring and guiding junior network engineers and technicians. To qualify for this role, you should have: - A Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. - 12-14 years of experience in network consulting, design, and implementation, preferably in a client-facing role. - Strong knowledge in network fundamentals, including OSI & TCP/IP model, subnetting, Layer-2 and Layer-3 technologies, etc. - Proficiency in network protocols and technologies such as TCP/IP, DNS, OSPF, BGP, MPLS, VLANs, VPNs, and firewalls. - Hands-on experience with network equipment from leading vendors, such as Cisco, Juniper, Arista, etc. - Proficiency in security elements such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, etc. - Strong expertise in modern network technologies, including SD-WAN, virtualization, cloud networking, SDN, and network automation. - Expertise in Ansible for seamless automation of IP network configurations and Terraform for provisioning IP network resources. - Proficiency in cloud networking technologies and SASE. - Familiarity with network monitoring and management tools like Wireshark, SolarWinds, ThousandEyes, LiveNX, etc. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to propose effective solutions to complex network requirements. - Strong communication skills to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. - Industry certifications from vendors like Cisco, Juniper, Zscaler, Palo Alto, Fortinet, etc., are highly desirable.
