Manager - Merchandising Analyst

Role Overview: As a Manager - Merchandising Analyst at Malabar Head Quarters, your primary responsibility will be to provide inputs based on analysis and help implement inventory allocation strategies, merchandise assortment, and other related strategies for MGD Retail Pan India. You will monitor store category sales, plan tools, and design strategies to enhance financial performance for all merchandise. Additionally, you will be responsible for conducting demand and sales forecasting, preparing planograms, and assisting in developing supply strategies in collaboration with Senior Management. Key Responsibilities: - Provide inputs for inventory allocation strategies, merchandise assortment, and other related strategies - Monitor store category sales and design strategies to enhance financial performance - Prepare and upload planograms for new store/renovation/amendments - Plan inventory up-stocking and assortment mix according to seasonal changes - Assist in developing supply strategies with Senior Management - Identify product life cycles and ensure design/category presence as per product policy - Work closely with Product Category Managers to audit product categories and sales trends - Analyze financial performance of merchandisers and provide recommendations - Conduct in-depth sales analysis to identify strengths, weaknesses, threats, and opportunities - Use technological landscape for merchandise analysis and improve efficiency - Support preparation of analytical dashboards and maintain business-related data - Generate financial and statistical reports for the merchandising department - Monitor merchandising matrices and develop innovative strategies for analyzing consumer patterns Qualification Required: - B Tech/BE - Age: 32 - 35 - Experience: 10 to 12 Years (Note: No additional details about the company were provided in the job description),
