Job Description

As a Manager in the Medical Affairs team at Pfizer, your role will involve developing various types of medical content for external stakeholders. Your responsibilities will include: - Developing medical content such as abstracts, manuscripts, posters, presentations, slide decks, educational resources, social media content, and more. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the development of medical content in assigned therapeutic areas. - Providing solutions to authors for assigned projects and working with other teams to drive these solutions. - Ensuring accuracy and quality control of all medical content. - Delivering projects within expected timelines while adhering to quality and compliance requirements. - Supporting the development of training materials for product/therapeutic area priorities. - Staying updated on evolving trends in medical content generation and industry best practices. - Training and developing expertise in industry-leading tools/skills for content creation. Qualifications required for this role include: - Advanced scientific doctoral degree (e.g., PhD, PharmD, MBBS/MD, MSc, MPH, MPharm). - Excellent scientific writing skills and the ability to interpret and summarize complex data effectively. - Minimum of 3 years of experience in writing/developing medical content in relevant industries. - Ability to lead and execute projects end-to-end. - Strong interpersonal skills and organizational abilities. - Understanding of statistical and epidemiologic principles. - Effective English verbal and written communication skills. - Demonstrated ability to lead projects independently and engage diverse stakeholders. - Knowledge of technology applications in medical content development. Preferred qualifications include experience in creating medical content, expertise in assigned therapeutic areas, ISMPP-CMPP certification, multimedia and omnichannel experience, rapid adoption of new digital content technologies, and global exposure in professional/education settings.
