Essential Duties
- Manage daily operations to consistently achieve business outcomes, ensuring effective planning, coordination, and resource oversight.
- Collaborate with the Business Head of New Services to define and align business-specific goals with the overall strategy.
- Cascade goals across teams, ensuring clarity and monitor progress to meet objectives.
- Lead key projects and changes in the Jewelry business to improve operations.
- Guide first- and second-level leadership to maintain operational focus, ensuring adherence to values of process, integrity, respect, teamwork, and results.
- Establish and evaluate processes and systems, continuously improving them to drive better results.
- Lead the communication and implementation of the business strategy across functions, ensuring alignment with evolving customer needs.
- Foster talent development by conducting performance evaluations, providing feedback, and supporting employee growth through development plans.
- Actively participate in hiring key players and team members, making sound hiring decisions and collaborating with HR for disciplinary actions when necessary.
- Stay informed on industry trends, technical skills, and operational best practices to meet production goals.
- Assist in budgeting for Mumbai and Surat locations, providing data on QC, headcounts, equipment, and operations.
- Recommend innovative approaches to products, services, and processes.
- Collaborate closely with the Market Development team to ensure that QC standards align with customer expectations and support market growth.
- Conduct periodic reviews and presentations with senior leadership regarding KPIs.
Qualifications
Education & Work Experience
:
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum 4-5 years of managerial experience, with expertise in jewelry manufacturing QC, including quality management and control processes.
- Strong understanding of industry standards, QC protocols, and production processes.
- In-depth knowledge of client divisions and interdepartmental interactions.
- Proven track record of successful inter-departmental projects.
