Manager - Estimation & Proposal

Role Overview: As a candidate for the role at Chart Industries in Sricity, Andhra Pradesh, you are expected to have a BE Mechanical qualification along with 15 to 18 years of relevant experience in the fabrication industry, particularly in Pressure Vessels or Tanks Manufacturing. Additionally, good communication skills are a must for this position. Key Responsibilities: - Review project specifications, datasheets, and bid documents to establish customer requirements - Understand customer requirements and seek clarifications as needed - Prepare and verify PID, GA drawings, and layout in AutoCAD according to design and tender requirements - Prepare detailed cost estimations based on Tender Bill of Material & Drawings - Coordinate with the Engineering Department for equipment design details - Costing and Estimation of proposed products, including indirect costs for the project - Conduct clarification meetings and negotiations with internal/external partners and sub-vendors - Estimate overall supply material cost, including tax and freight - Estimate direct and indirect manpower costs based on project duration and scope of work - Understand commercial terms and conditions in coordination with Sales, Finance & Legal departments - Coordinate with various departments for problem-solving and communicate with customers for clarifications - Prepare detailed estimation templates and comparison sheets with reference projects - Communicate with customers/clients for queries and clarifications related to the tender - Keep track of market prices and rate fluctuations - Prepare techno-commercial project proposals and respond to technical queries - Conduct kick-off meetings before order execution - Prepare budgets and obtain management approval - Coordinate with the client and Engineering department during drawing approval and project execution phase - Engage in written and oral interpersonal communication with customers/clients, sub-vendors, suppliers, and contractors - Interact with customers for project queries and updates - Support the Project Manager in budget, process, specialist engineering problems, and commercial contract issues during execution Qualifications Required: - BE Mechanical qualification - 15 to 18 years of relevant experience in the fabrication industry, specifically in Pressure Vessels or Tanks Manufacturing Additional Details: This job at Chart Industries offers you the opportunity to work on challenging projects in the fabrication industry and collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.,
