Job Description

As an EMC (Electromagnetic Compatibility) Test Engineer at a Listed Automotive Company in Bangalore, your primary responsibility will be to prepare EMC test specifications, plan and conduct EMC tests and measurements, and design electronic systems with a focus on electromagnetic compatibility. You will collaborate with design engineers and PCB designers to ensure the best design practices are implemented to avoid EMI/EMC failures. Your role will also involve using analytical methods to estimate EMI signatures, analyzing test results for areas of improvement, providing technical guidance on EMI/EMC certification tests, and keeping abreast of global trends in relevant technology and regulations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to address EMC requirements throughout the product development lifecycle. To excel in this role, you must have a strong understanding of electromagnetic theory, EMC principles, and regulatory standards applicable to automotive electronics. Experience with EMC testing equipment and techniques, as well as knowledge of electronic component designs, will be essential. Additionally, hands-on experience with lab equipment and familiarity with design for six sigma (DFSS) processes are desired. Your problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment will be crucial for success in this role.
