Description
As an Electronics Manager at our company located in Gurgaon, you will play a crucial role in the development and enhancement of electronics. You will lead both internal and external electronics teams, enhancing a wide range of skills and capabilities. **Role Overview:** - You will be responsible for managing and supervising resources in design, process, and compliance related to digital and analog circuit design, PCB layout, mechanical design, firmware & software development, part and vendor specification, prototype build and debugging, administration/documentation, test instruction, and product manual. - Your role will involve managing electronic resources and allocating them effectively to various projects based on requirements. - You should have hands-on knowledge of the process (design & development) from the concept phase to the qualification & production of high-end mechatronic systems. Your ability to understand system-level requirements and convert them into electronics specifications will be essential. - Good knowledge of EMI/EMC & safety test standards is required. You will guide the team in troubleshooting & solution analysis for EMI/EMC & safety testing. **Key Responsibilities:** - Micro-level planning for every ongoing project & tracking it through the process. - Knowledge of wire harness/cabling - (sub-system connectivity) & its required shielding in a cost-effective manner. - Performing trade-offs for implementation alternatives of functions. - Documenting specifications, concepts, designs, and test analysis results. - Managing the competency and resources of the R&D department according to company targets. - Ensuring product compliance with EMC/ESD considerations and relevant regulatory requirements. - Developing architectural concepts in multidisciplinary teams. - Managing outsourcing activities at electronics development partners such as circuit design & PCB design layout. - Contributing specialist knowledge and experiences in electronic engineering fields. - Managing and optimizing process workflow to ensure proper steps and procedures are taken during the design process. - Organizing design activities. - Planning and conceptualizing new products. - Working with managers and members of other departments to ensure the smooth transfer of new products into production and into the marketplace. **Qualifications Required:** - Total experience of 15-18 years with relevant experience of 12-15 years. - Strong understanding of concepts of Digital Electronics, Logic Gates, PCB Layout, Microprocessors, Microcontroller, Standards such as ESD, EMI, I2C, SPI, etc. - Good knowledge of EMI/EMC & Safety test standards. - Experience in managing electronic resources and allocating them effectively to projects. - Hands-on knowledge of the design & development process. - Ability to convert system-level requirements into electronics specifications. - Knowledge of wire harness/cabling and its required shielding. - Experience in documenting specifications, concepts, designs, and test analysis results. - Ability to manage the competency and resources of the R&D department according to company targets. - Expertise in product compliance with EMC/ESD considerations and regulatory requirements. - Strong skills in developing architectural concepts in multidisciplinary teams. - Experience in managing outsourcing activities at electronics development partners. - Proficiency in contributing specialist knowledge in electronic engineering fields. - Ability to manage and optimize process workflow during the design process. - Strong organizational and planning skills for new product development and transfer into production.,
