Job Description

Role & responsibilities Responsible for day to day implementation strategy and day to day upkeep of all Electrical and Electronics equipment , planning spares implementation within the required standards of quality, cost, time, delivery and safety parameters 1. The primary focus of the role is the delivery of planned engineering maintenance activities across Electrical, and regulatory compliant asset, also managing all shutdown planning activities. 2. Responsible for managing safe working behaviour of the Maintenance team and third-party contractors, sustaining a zero-overdue status of investigations and actions. 3. Good working knowledge of engineering ERPs and ensuring the ERP process is fully followed and ensure data accuracy 4. Monitoring and adopting engineering standards and procedure published by Global/Regional engineering. 5. Controlling equipment repair and maintenance cost. 6. Ensure proper utilization of Engineering ERP. Update the history of breakdowns and modifications done if any. Preparation of monthly reports. To co-ordinate with Engg. Planner ensure that the smooth closing of job orders. 7. Adhere to Engineering Global KPI. Adopt equipment Reliability framework. 8. Establishing and maintaining proper SOP and RA for electrical engineering activities. 9. Oversee day to day electrical/Mechanical Shift activities with a strong focus on conducting the activities in a safe manner as per DPW guidelines. 10. Manage the maintenance engineering team to deliver the site objectives and grow the business, ensuring we always deliver internal customer satisfaction. 11. Ensure & innovate Energy saving /Decarbonization(Solar etc) projects. 12. Ensure Safety Engagement Program is implemented in all equipment - owned and hired. 13. Ensure safety checks are carried out in all equipment owned and hired. 14. Maintaining documents and manuals of all equipment. 15. Issuance of work permits. 16. Substation: Preventive and routine Maintenance of Substation equipment viz. transformer, VCB(Vacuum Circuit breaker) and other switchgears. 17. Routine inspection and checks of all facilities like Emergency Generators, Administration Building lift, Office lights, Street lights, High mast. 18. Should possess reasonable working /managing knowledge & skill to look at mechanical and other engineering disciplines 19. Attending to audit and other action points to ensure closures within targeted time frame 20. Liaising with related authorities and maintaining records. 21. Strictly follow statutory compliance and Global engineering Policy. Contribute for the reduction of the waste generation & maintaining record as per statutory requirement. Preferred candidate profile Ability to handle crisis and emergencies. Up-to-date with latest technology. A very good and fast learner Strong communication skills both written and verbal with the ability to write in a clear, concise, and relevant reader friendly style. Be able to work independently in a multi-cultural environment with strong awareness of formal and informal organizational structures. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills. Good interpersonal skills, time management, excellent team building capabilities, planning, co-ordination, and decision-making skills. Computer literate in Microsoft Office applications B.E / B. Tech/ Diploma - Electrical / Electronic Engineering Diploma Holder with minimum 7 years of experience Degree holder with minimum 5 years of experience
