Manager - Electrical Engineer

Role & responsibilities

1. Responsible for Plant Engineering Electrical Maintenance activities of Unit-3.
2. Implementation & Execution of Preventive Maintenance of Transformers, DG Sets, PCC, MCC, UPSs systems.
3. Implementation & Execution of Thermography, CBM & Predictive Maintenance of Transformers, DG Sets, PCC, MCC, UPSs systems.
4. Co-ordination with TSSPDCL, TSCEIG to meet Statutory requirements.
5. Implementation & Execution Illumination levels, FLP Integrity & Earthing System.
6. Implementation & Execution of Electrical Mitigation Activities.

7. Implementation & Monitoring of Corrective and Preventive actions.

8. Monitoring of Power Consumption and minimizing of power utilization.

9. Implementation of Environment, Health and Safety requirements in the plant as per the

ISO9001, 14001 and ISO 45001 requirements.

10. Implementation of Capacity expansion projects within the plant as and when required.

11. Implementation of operation and maintenance procedures as per the SOPs and Formats

of the plant engineering dept.

12. Preparation of SOPs and Protocols time to time as per the plant equipment requirements.

13. Preparation of Plant Engineering dept.- annual budget (Preventive & Capital).

1. Execution of breakdown maintenance activities as per the procedure.
2. Ensuring the usage of safety gadgets by workforce.
3. Ensuring of work permits of hot, height, vessel entry during execution of works.
4. Ensuring maximum availability of process and utility equipment.
5. Perform the Electrical maintenance of HVAC systems i.e, Air handling, exhaust and dust extract systems of clean room areas in the plant as per the procedures.
6. Coordinating with production in-charge for meeting their day-to-day requirements.
7. Follow up with purchase department. / Vendors for materials and services.
8. Verification of job quantity and quality of all jobs done by contract work force as per GEP.
9. Verification of all log sheets / books on daily basis.
10. Inspection of the equipment / materials received at engineering stores.
11. Execution of facility maintenance as per the requirement / schedules and procedures.
12. Planning & organizing manpower effectively to meet plant requirements on daily Basis.
13. On job training to sub ordinates on Technical Matters.
14. Verification & updating of all documents on daily basis.
15. Preparation of specification for procuring material / equipment to the Eng. Stores.
16. Preparation of bill of material, material inspection, execution, and commissioning of all

Expansion projects in the plant.

Preferred candidate profile

• Should be an Electrical Engineer with 33KV licence
• Minimum experience of 15 years
• Should be willing to work in Plant
• Should be fluent in English
