Job Description

Role Overview: You will be responsible for overseeing the design and development of electrical hardware, including switchgear, sensors, power supplies, and control systems. Your main tasks will involve developing and integrating control systems for machine tools, ensuring proper selection of electrical components, creating and reviewing electrical line diagrams, troubleshooting electrical issues, leading on-site activities such as machine commissioning, managing a team of automation engineers, collaborating with cross-functional teams, ensuring compliance with electrical safety standards, and working with various automation communication protocols. Key Responsibilities: - Oversee the design of electrical hardware, including switchgear, sensors, power supplies, and control systems. - Develop and integrate control systems for machine tools, including PLC programming (Ladder, FBD, SCL) and HMI development. - Ensure proper selection of electrical components, including PLCs, HMIs, I/O modules, VFDs, motors, drives, and CNC controllers. - Create and review electrical line diagrams and schematics. - Lead on-site activities such as machine commissioning and troubleshooting electrical issues. - Diagnose and resolve problems related to PLC programming, HMI interfaces, and other electrical components. - Manage and mentor a team of automation engineers. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams (mechanical, software, etc.) during the design and development process. - Ensure adherence to relevant electrical safety standards and regulations. - Implement and maintain quality control procedures for electrical systems. - Work with various automation communication protocols (e.g., Profibus, Profinet). - Integrate machine tools into plant networks. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Electronics. - 10-15 years of experience in the Gear Manufacturing industry. - Proven experience in PLC programming, HMI development, and electrical hardware design. - Strong understanding of electrical components and their applications in machine tools. - Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. - Effective communication and interpersonal skills. - Experience in team management and project leadership. - Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations.,
