Manager, Development

The Java UI Lead Developer will play a crucial role in the Trade IT Development Team, responsible for transforming User Stories into high-quality software that meets both functional and non-functional requirements. As a part of a dynamic and ambitious delivery programme, you will be involved in various aspects of software development. Your responsibilities will include building and delivering software using standard frameworks and design patterns, developing scalable real-time low-latency processing solutions, creating secure software components for multi-grained services, and ensuring adherence to governance and standards. Additionally, you will be involved in automated testing, managing project deliverables, suggesting design solutions, and fostering an open communication culture within the team. To excel in this role, you should have relevant experience of 8-10 years and possess coordination skills to work with resources and teams across different locations. You will also be responsible for the capability development of the team/unit and ensuring adherence to Systems Development Framework and control processes. Furthermore, you will need to demonstrate exemplary conduct in line with the Group's Values and Code of Conduct, as well as take personal responsibility for ethical standards and compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Effective communication and collaboration with key stakeholders such as Business and Operations, Tribe Leads, Chapter Leads, and Technology Services Teams will be essential for success. In terms of skills and experience, proficiency in Frontend UI Technical Stack including JavaScript, React JS, Bootstrap, CSS/SCSS, HTML5, and other related technologies is required. Experience with Agile development, REST API platform development, and Unix/Linux Operating Systems will be beneficial. A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent field is necessary for this role.
