Key Responsibilities:

  • SAP FICO Implementation & Optimization:

    Lead the end-to-end implementation of SAP FICO solutions, including configuration, testing, and deployment. Optimize the FI and CO modules to support financial management, accounting, and controlling processes.
  • Business Process Design & Configuration:

    Work closely with business stakeholders to design and configure SAP FICO processes, including financial accounting, cost center accounting, profit center accounting, internal orders, and financial reporting.
  • Team Leadership & Development:

    Manage, mentor, and guide a team of SAP FICO consultants. Ensure the team meets business requirements and project deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Financial Accounting (FI) & Controlling (CO):

    Oversee all FI and CO processes within SAP, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, asset accounting, and cost accounting.
  • Reporting & Compliance:

    Ensure that SAP FICO configurations support accurate financial reporting, compliance with accounting standards, and regulatory requirements. Drive improvements in financial reporting processes using SAP tools.
  • System Support & Troubleshooting:

    Provide ongoing support for SAP FICO, including troubleshooting issues and resolving technical challenges. Oversee incident management, change requests, and system enhancements.
  • Testing & Quality Assurance:

    Lead unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT) for SAP FICO solutions. Ensure all solutions meet business needs and adhere to internal controls and compliance standards.
  • Cross-Module Integration:

    Collaborate with teams responsible for other SAP modules (e.g., MM, SD, PP) to ensure seamless integration and end-to-end business processes.
  • Project Management:

    Lead SAP FICO-related projects, ensuring that scope, timelines, and budgets are adhered to. Deliver projects on time and within scope.
  • Continuous Improvement:

    Identify opportunities for continuous improvement within the SAP FICO landscape. Implement best practices and leverage new SAP functionality to optimize financial processes.

Skills Required:

  • SAP FICO Expertise:

    Extensive hands-on experience with the SAP FI (Financial Accounting) and CO (Controlling) modules, including configuration and customization.
  • Business Process Knowledge:

    Strong understanding of financial management, accounting principles, and controlling processes such as cost center accounting, internal orders, and profit center accounting.
  • Financial Reporting:

    Expertise in SAP FICO reporting tools, including financial statements, balance sheets, P&L, and other regulatory financial reports.
  • SAP Configuration & Customization:

    Strong experience configuring SAP FICO modules and ensuring integration with other SAP modules like MM, SD, and PP.
  • Team Leadership & Management:

    Proven ability to lead a team, manage project deliverables, and foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
  • Problem-Solving:

    Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve issues related to SAP FICO processes.
  • Project Management:

    Solid experience in managing SAP FICO projects, including scope definition, planning, budgeting, and delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:

    Ability to work with multiple teams and business units to understand requirements and design SAP FICO solutions.
  • Knowledge of Financial Compliance & Controls:

    Familiarity with accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP) and financial compliance requirements.
  • Continuous Improvement Mindset:

    Proactive in identifying and implementing process improvements within the SAP FICO landscape.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • SAP certification in SAP FICO module (preferred).

Experience:

  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in SAP FICO, with at least 3-5 years in a managerial or leadership role.
  • Experience in leading SAP FICO implementation projects, upgrades, and ongoing support.
  • Hands-on experience in financial accounting, controlling processes, and integration of SAP FICO with other SAP modules.
  • Proven track record in managing cross-functional teams and ensuring the successful delivery of SAP projects.
