Manager Data Quality

As a Manager of Data Quality at HSBC, you will play a crucial role in managing the HSBC Data Utility's stakeholders and promoting data quality services. You will be responsible for building strong working relationships with data Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) in GB/GFs and Group Data Services. Working within the HDU, you will collaborate closely with Data Quality Issues Remediation, Data Governance, Data Architecture, and the Policy & Compliance teams. Your key responsibilities will include converting business needs into technical/functional requirements and analysis/MI reports, ensuring flawless execution by the team through effective project management, and incorporating necessary quality checks approved by senior management. You will be expected to demonstrate high standards of productivity and contribute towards the quantifiable process improvement goals of the team. To be successful in this role, you should have at least 6+ years of experience in Data Quality, Data Mapping, Data Science, and Data project management or equivalent. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline from a reputed university is required. You should be adaptive to a multi-data environment with a quick learning ability to understand infrastructures. Proficiency in tools such as Alteryx, Python, SAS, SQL, QlikSense, Tableau, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, VBA, and exposure to document and content management utilities like Rational Team Concert, Confluence will be advantageous in fulfilling your responsibilities effectively.
