Manager - Copyediting (Medical/STM)

Job Description:

• Lead & Manage: Oversee a team of copy editors, ensuring high-quality, accurate, and timely delivery of projects.
• Quality & Standards: Uphold editorial best practices and ensure adherence to client guidelines and style guides (e.g., AMA, APA, Vancouver). Conduct quality checks and resolve complex editing issues.
• Workflow Optimization: Manage client communication, daily production schedules and team workload. Implement and improve processes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
• Collaboration & Communication: Work with cross-functional teams and clients to address queries, feedback, and project requirements.
• Team Development: Train, mentor, and foster a collaborative and growth-oriented team culture.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree (English, Publishing, Journalism, or Life Sciences)
• 8+ years of copyediting experience, including 2+ years in a managerial role.
• In-depth knowledge of editorial standards and style guides (e.g., AMA, APA, Vancouver).
• Must have strong knowledge of STM/medical editing and academic publishing standards.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
