Manager - Commercial Finance & FP&A

As a Commercial Finance FP&A Manager at Lonza, you will serve as a finance business partner to Commercial (Sales) and BU teams. Your primary responsibilities will include ensuring financial compliance, supporting commercial activities in the region, and managing day-to-day finance operations: Key Responsibilities: - Take a supporting role in the region and in Finance to help deliver on business objectives and strategies. - Organize and drive planning and analysis processes such as long-term planning (BSR), annual budget, outlooks, and forecasts for the region (commercial). - Manage monthly closing and reporting activities, including monthly reporting, pricing/sales performance analysis (Price, Volume & Mix, FX), sales and margins review, review of sales adjustments, and AR review. - Analyze business performance, recommend benchmarks, highlight key opportunities and risks, and collaborate with the commercial function to develop plans for capturing opportunities and mitigating risks. - Support RBU Finance in all commercial financial planning & analysis for the region. - Act as a business partner, playing an instrumental role in connecting sales marketing and business development efforts. - Provide recommendations for customer pricing & credit limits, be involved in regional pricing strategy, and manage the approval process with global stakeholders. - Share global responsibility for CHI financial and management accounting in accordance with IFRS, the Lonza Finance Accounting Manual (FAM), and other required accounting principles. - Collaborate with Group Finance Management to ensure state-of-the-art financial systems and processes that maximize functional efficiency. - Perform other duties as assigned by RBU Finance head. Key Requirements: - Approximately 10 years of experience post CA / MBA Finance / CMA in business finance partnering, finance planning & analysis, sales/commercial finance, etc. - Industry preference for FMCG, Pharma, Auto. - Working experience in a fast-paced international environment is a strong advantage. - SAP experience is mandatory (FI, CO). Business warehouse (BW) knowledge is good to have. - Advanced knowledge in Excel. Power BI experience is good to have. - Fluency in both spoken and written English.
