Manager - Cloud Operations & Security

As the Manager of Cloud Security & Operations at Accelya, you will be leading and developing a highly skilled team of cloud security and operations engineers to contribute to the organization's business goals. Your primary focus will be on managing operations in Accelya's cloud hosted environments while ensuring continuous adherence to security best practices and hardening techniques. It is essential to cultivate a culture of operational excellence that aligns with Accelya's global business strategy, values, and missions. Your responsibilities will include managing and nurturing the team of cloud security and operations engineers, actively participating in architectural decisions and providing hands-on support for issue resolution. You will also be responsible for supporting the career growth of your team members, coordinating with various teams to facilitate project execution, and designing security controls to meet industry compliance standards. To excel in this role, you should have at least 3 years of experience as a cloud security and operations engineering manager across multiple environments. In-depth knowledge of AWS or equivalent cloud service provider tech stacks, along with experience in information security engineering, is essential. Additionally, you should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in leadership roles and be familiar with Cloud IDS, WAF, VPC Security, SIEM Analytics, Certificate & Secrets Management, and Anti-Botnet Security. A good understanding of information compliance standards such as PCI and SOC 2 will be beneficial in this position.,
