Manager Cloud Operations Engineer( Azure) (9-14Years) -Pune

About the Role

As a Cloud Operations Manager at Energy Exemplar, you will manage and optimize the day-to-day operations of our cloud infrastructure to ensure performance, scalability, security, and reliability. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive automation, manage cloud services, and support our global SaaS offerings. This role is critical in scaling our cloud footprint and delivering seamless experiences to our customers worldwide.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Manage a team of cloud operations professionals and ensure efficient delivery of services.
• Support 24x7 operations, responding to service requests and resolving issues efficiently.
• Oversee the provisioning, configuration, and maintenance of cloud infrastructure, ensuring adherence to best practices and security standards.
• Manage and resolve cloud & on-prem-related incidents, ensuring minimal downtime and impact on business operations.
• Monitor cloud environments for performance, availability, and cost optimization, and implement proactive measures to address any issues or inefficiencies.
• Lead and mentor a team of cloud operations professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and technical support to foster their professional growth and development.
• Promote a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning within the team, encouraging knowledge sharing and cross-training opportunities.
• Coordinate with HR to recruit, onboard, and train new team members as needed to support business growth and client demand.

Skills & Experience

• 8+ years of cloud operations and automation experience
• 3+ years of team lead experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex plans and designs.
• Experience of Tracking Cloud Ops metrics (SLA, Incident, Release tracking, Cost optimization and Security)
• Strong knowledge of Cloud service providers such as Microsoft Azure, AWS and GCP
• Experience in PowerShell, Bash, or Python scripts for infrastructure provisioning, deployment, automation, and maintenance activities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to cloud services, infrastructure, monitoring, and performance bottlenecks.
• Strong knowledge of software development life cycle methods and standards
• Experience in Kubernetes and Docker- Good to have
