Manager, Capital Project Delivery

As a Delivery Head - Capital Projects at Piramal Pharma Solutions in Lexington, KY, your role will involve planning and executing capital project initiatives for the sterile injectable facility. The focus will be on chemistry, process engineering, and pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment. Your key responsibilities will include: - Leading capital projects for new facilities and equipment, specializing in filling and formulation processes for sterile injectable facilities. - Acting as the Lexington Site Lead for an $80M expansion project, overseeing the design and execution of complex injectable process equipment. - Managing project budgets, vendor relationships, and project timelines while ensuring quality and workmanship of project deliverables. - Supporting the commissioning of new facilities and troubleshooting any equipment performance issues. - Collaborating with internal stakeholders and external resources to ensure project success. - Promoting an operational excellence culture and delivering operational goals for existing facilities and equipment. - Participating in deviation investigations and leading process technology development projects. - Demonstrating teamwork, good communication skills, strong engineering, and computer skills. - Taking ownership of tasks, managing meetings effectively, and adapting to new challenges and learning opportunities. Qualifications required for this role: - Bachelor's degree in chemical, mechanical, or electrical engineering (or relevant discipline). - Minimum five (5) years of GMP manufacturing or project management experience in the pharmaceutical industry. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and CAD software is beneficial. - Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements, quality systems, and validation processes. - Familiarity with Lean and Six Sigma methodologies for operational excellence. - Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills. - Ability to manage high-pressure situations and deliver projects on time and within budget. - Proactive, innovative, and analytical mindset with a positive attitude towards work.
