Manager - Assumed Reinsurance Underwriting Operations

As a Manager of Reinsurance Underwriting (Assumed Side) at Spectral Consultants, you will be responsible for leading and managing a high-performing team to provide accurate and timely underwriting support. Your role will involve evaluating, analyzing, and interpreting Treaty & Facultative reinsurance contracts for multiple lines of business. You will assess risks, interpret terms & pricing structures, and ensure compliance with underwriting authority guidelines. Additionally, you will collaborate with brokers, reinsurers, and underwriting managers across geographies to drive automation and AI-powered process improvements. To excel in this role, you should have proven experience in P&C Reinsurance on the Assumed side, specifically Treaty & Facultative. You should possess at least 8 years of experience in reinsurance, including a minimum of 4 years in a leadership position. Strong decision-making and risk assessment skills are essential for this role. Moreover, you should have excellent relationship-building skills to effectively engage with global stakeholders. Proficiency in MS PowerPoint & Excel is also required to succeed in this position.
