Sr. Makeup Artist Job Duties

As a Sr. Makeup Artist, you are expected to:

• Perform a variety of makeup application like Bridal Makeup, Engagement Makeup, Party Makeup, etc.
• Have proficiency in various makeup application techniques like foundation application, contouring, blending eyeshadows, eyeliner application, and lipstick application
• Have understanding of color theory is essential for choosing the right colors for different skin tones and creating harmonious looks
• Perform various hairstyling to complement makeup looks
• Have strong portfolio showcasing a variety of makeup styles and techniques is crucial for demonstrating your skills and attracting clients
• Perform skincare services like facial, threadwork
• Have a good understanding of different skin types, tones, and textures, as well as knowledge of appropriate skincare products and their application.
• Assess clients' skin and hair conditions and recommend suitable treatments and products
• Keep up to date with the latest beauty trends and techniques to provide innovative services
• Be updated on the latest makeup products, brands, and tools is essential.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the salon, including sanitizing tools and equipment
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through excellent customer service and personalized recommendations
• Keep accurate records of client appointments, treatments, and product inventory
• Attend training sessions and workshops to enhance skills and knowledge
• Provide trainings to new students and other jr. makeup artist
• Adhere to all safety and sanitation guidelines
• Handle client inquiries, concerns, and complaints professionally and effectively

Sr. Makeup Artist Requirements

• Training from a reputed school.
• At least 3-5 years’ experience as a makeup artist
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Good verbal/written communication.
• Physical stamina and should be willing to work in business as well as non-business hours
• Creative mindset and a good eye for design.
• At least candidate should have bachelor’s degree.

• Fully furnished 4 BHK flat is available on first floor. Out of which 2 bedrooms will be allotted for office personnel at no cost and 2 bedrooms will be reserved for owner’s member

• Office will sponsor groceries for limited period of time
• Transportation cost will be reimbursed for the expense in the office’s affairs
