The Maintenance In charge/Technician is responsible for maintaining the excellent condition and functionality of the business premises. Your primary duties will include inspecting buildings and equipment, identifying issues, conducting repairs, managing heating and plumbing systems, scheduling repairs, and maintaining inventory. It is essential to develop preventive maintenance procedures to ensure smooth operations. The ideal candidate for this position should possess a diverse skill set, including knowledge of maintenance procedures, hydraulic systems, and basic tools. To succeed in this role, you must be a skilled problem-solver with excellent communication and organizational abilities. Responsibilities: - Inspect buildings, equipment, and systems to identify issues. - Repair faulty equipment units and damaged structures. - Develop and implement preventive maintenance procedures. - Manage heating and plumbing systems to ensure functionality. - Plan and schedule repairs effectively. - Conduct periodic quality checks on equipment and systems. - Perform general maintenance tasks such as landscaping, painting, and carpentry. - Assist in developing and implementing the maintenance department budget. - Maintain accurate inventory records for equipment and supplies. Requirements: - ITI & Diploma or equivalent qualification. - Certificate in HVAC, building maintenance technology, or related field preferred. - Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role. - Proficiency in Electrical, HVAC, and Plumbing systems. - Advanced understanding of maintenance procedures and techniques. - Physically capable and available for overtime, weekends, public holidays, and evenings. - Strong problem-solving skills. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Organized with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
