Maintenance Technician (Mechanical)

As a mechanical maintenance person at our company, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning of industrial equipment by conducting repairs, servicing, and maintenance. Your expertise in areas such as welding, cutting, and bearing work will be crucial for this role. Key Responsibilities: - Perform mechanical maintenance and repairs on industrial machines to ensure optimal functionality. - Conduct welding, gas cutting, and fabrication tasks as required. - Inspect and replace bearings, shafts, and other machine components to uphold efficiency. - Carry out alignment and fitting work on rotating equipment for smooth operation. - Maintain cleanliness and safety of tools, equipment, and work area. - Adhere to safety protocols and promptly report any machine issues to the supervisor. Qualifications Required: - ITI / Diploma in Mechanical or related trade. - Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical maintenance. - Proficiency in welding, cutting, bearing replacement, and machine repair. - Ability to interpret simple mechanical drawings. - Physical fitness and willingness to work in shifts.
