Maintenance Lead- Special Process (Surface treatment and Painting.)

As a Maintenance Lead specializing in Surface Treatment, Surface Finishing, and Painting, your role will involve overseeing maintenance activities for green field operations to ensure efficient and safe equipment operation. You will be instrumental in implementing maintenance strategies to enhance productivity and quality, establish best practices, and drive continuous improvement initiatives within the maintenance department. Key Responsibilities: - Lead and supervise maintenance teams to ensure timely completion of tasks. - Develop preventive and predictive maintenance programs for surface treatment and finishing equipment. - Coordinate with production teams to schedule maintenance activities with minimal disruption. - Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. - Troubleshoot equipment issues, recommend solutions, and improve equipment reliability. - Collaborate with engineering and production teams on project requirements and new installations. - Manage maintenance budgets, track spending, and identify cost reduction opportunities. - Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation. - Train and mentor maintenance personnel to enhance their skills. - Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in surface treatment and finishing technologies. Qualifications Required: - Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience. - Proven experience in maintenance leadership roles, preferably in surface treatment and finishing operations. - Strong knowledge of surface treatment, coatings, and painting processes. - Familiarity with maintenance management systems and tools. - Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to perform root cause analysis. - Strong leadership and interpersonal skills for collaborative work. - Understanding of safety regulations and best practices in maintenance and operations. - Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a dynamic environment. - Should lead the installation and commissioning activities of equipment.
