Maintenance Incharge

Role & responsibilities

1. To supervise all works related to engineering maintenance.
2. To look after new construction, its designing and supervision.
3. To ensure proper maintenance of all electrical, medical gas, plumbing, civil, medical gas, steam, solar system and all electrical appliances of the hospital.
4. To maintain records related to maintenance & engineering.
5. To ensure the completion of all indicators/ protocols of PPSCB & PSEB.
6. To ensure smooth functioning of HVAC (Heating Ventilator and Air Conditioning).
7. To ensure Quality Control Program to be deployed.
8. To carry on continuous Process Improvement.
9. To perform all other jobs as may be assigned due to exigencies of work.
10. Furnish technical/ technological consultation prior to the purchase of major equipment or building alteration.
11. Ensure that all pertinent blue prints, specifications and operating service manuals for all equipment and parts are available.
12. Participate in the orientation programme of all personnel in the hospital.
13. Direct and oversee the functioning of all areas involving maintenance of physical facilities and related functions which includes the following areas:
1. The maintenance, repair and operation of all equipment and machinery in the following areas:
2. Steam, Hot water and water treatment plant.
3. Plumbing (including sewage disposal).
4. Electrical system.
5. Fire fighting systems.
6. Carpentry.
7. Vertical transportation systems ( lifts)
8. Communication and mechanical messaging systems.
9. Medical Gas plant.
10. Heating, Air conditioning and ventilation.
11. Workshop

Preferred candidate profile
