Job Summary: The Maintenance Head will oversee the upkeep and functionality of all equipment, facilities, and infrastructure across multiple QSR burger outlets. The role focuses on minimizing downtime, and optimizing maintenance procedures to enhance the brand's operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities: 1. Equipment Maintenance & Repair o Oversee regular inspection, maintenance, and repair of kitchen equipment, refrigeration units, grills, fryers, HVAC systems, and other critical appliances. o Troubleshoot and manage breakdowns swiftly to avoid service disruptions, coordinating with vendors for specialized repairs if needed. o Implement preventative maintenance schedules to extend the lifespan of equipment and reduce unexpected failures. 2. Facility Management o Ensure cleanliness, safety, and functionality of all restaurant facilities, including dining areas, bathrooms, and kitchen spaces. o Conduct regular checks and repairs for electrical systems, plumbing, lighting, flooring, and other infrastructure components. o Ensure all maintenance activities comply with health, safety, and sanitation regulations as per QSR standards. 3. Budget & Vendor Management o Manage the maintenance budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions for repairs and replacements. o Source, negotiate, and manage relationships with external vendors and contractors for maintenance services and equipment purchases. 4. Inventory & Record-Keeping o Maintain an inventory of essential spare parts, tools, and supplies required for routine maintenance and emergency repairs. o Keep detailed records of all maintenance activities, costs, equipment warranties, and scheduled services. 5. Team Leadership & Training o Lead and train a team of maintenance staff, ensuring that they are skilled and equipped to handle routine and emergency repairs. o Foster a culture of safety, quality, and efficiency within the maintenance team. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering, facility management, or a related field is preferred. Experience: Minimum of 4 years of maintenance experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role in QSR or a similar high-paced industry. Skills: o Strong technical knowledge of QSR kitchen equipment and facility maintenance. o Excellent problem-solving abilities and a quick response to urgent repairs. o Budget management and vendor negotiation skills. o Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, as needed.
