Job Description

Job Title: Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical & Electrical) Experience: 2-10 years Location: Chakan, Pune Roles and Responsibilities Equipment Maintenance and Repairs Manage and perform maintenance and repair tasks for all machinery, equipment, and systems in the manufacturing process, including VMC, injection molding, and blow molding machines. Plan, implement, and oversee preventive maintenance schedules for mechanical and electrical systems. Ensure optimal performance of equipment, minimize production disruptions, and address breakdowns promptly. Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults in VMC, injection molding, and blow molding machines. Prioritize maintenance tasks and allocate resources (manpower/technicians). Manage inventory of critical spares for electrical and mechanical components and establish reorder levels. Coordinate with departments like Purchase and Accounts to ensure seamless operations. Safety and Compliance Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe working environment. Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and work instructions to ensure compliance. Conduct regular inspections to identify potential safety hazards and mitigate risks. Maintain 5S standards in maintenance cabins and stores. Prepare documentation, including maintenance reports and preventive maintenance plans. Preferred Qualifications Degree/Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. Hands-on experience in preventive and breakdown maintenance, specifically with VMC, injection molding, and blow molding machines. Knowledge of safety standards, SOPs, and equipment troubleshooting for mechanical and electrical systems. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
