Maintenance Engineer

Job Location:

Role & Responsibilities

Ensure and follow all safety procedures in work areas.
Co-ordinate with off-roll supervisor for attendance and leave plan of off-roll executives.
Initiate and implement continuous improvement activities.
Co-ordinate with respective line in-charges and off-roll supervisors for the following on a daily basis:

Shift-wise downtime report
Identifying the hindrances causing production loss or high rejection
Attendance report on shift basis
Timely pass-down meetings

Ensure 5S standards are practiced on the shop floor and create a safe, clean, and organized work area throughout the unit.
Create and assign clear roles and responsibilities for each off-roll executive.
Attend breakdowns and resolve issues to ensure smooth production; escalate as per matrix if not resolved within specified time.
Ensure damaged spares are discarded in their designated area, and items for repair are sent to the maintenance workshop area.
Create and implement a continuous improvement culture on the shop floor.
Ensure effective OJT (On-the-Job Training) of new executives as per defined criteria.
Actively participate in training for targeted organizations on equipment engineering systems.
