Maintenance Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and execute

  Preventive Maintenance (PM)

  schedules for all machines and equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
• Respond promptly to

  Breakdown Maintenance

  issues, diagnose faults, and restore operations in minimum time (focus on reducing

  MTTR Mean Time to Repair

  ).
• Carry out

  Corrective Maintenance

  actions to address recurring issues and prevent future breakdowns.
• Monitor and improve

  MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures)

  and

  MTTR

  metrics for all critical assets.
• Maintain and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems across the plant.
  
• Ensure proper documentation of all maintenance activities, including PM checklists, breakdown records, and maintenance logs.
  
• Coordinate with production and quality departments to plan maintenance activities without affecting production targets.
  
• Maintain spare parts inventory and coordinate procurement to avoid downtime due to parts unavailability.
  
• Support installation, commissioning, and validation of new machines and plant equipment.
  
• Drive continuous improvement through

  Root Cause Analysis (RCA)

  ,

  , and implementation of

  corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)

• Lead or support implementation of

  Total Productive Maintenance (TPM)

  practices.
• Ensure all maintenance activities are performed in compliance with

  preventive, breakdown, and corrective maintenance techniques

• Proficiency in troubleshooting

  mechanical, electrical, and automation systems

• Knowledge of
