- Establish Zero Breakdown concept.
- Execution of new projects, Budget Planning & Control
Responsibilities
Shift Operations:
- Supervise and coordinate maintenance activities during the shift.
- Ensure timely response to breakdowns and minimize equipment downtime.
- Maintain shift logs and report critical issues to the Maintenance Manager.
Preventive & Predictive Maintenance:
- Execute scheduled preventive maintenance tasks as per plan.
- Monitor equipment performance and identify early signs of failure.
- Support predictive maintenance initiatives using condition monitoring tools.
Troubleshooting & Repairs:
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation faults.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards during repair work.
Documentation & Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and spare parts usage.
- Prepare shift reports and handover notes for the incoming shift.
- Assist in preparing maintenance KPIs and performance reports.
Team Coordination:
- Guide and support technicians and junior engineers.
- Coordinate with production, quality, and safety teams for maintenance planning.
- Participate in cross-functional meetings and improvement initiatives.
Safety Responsibility:
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with plant safety standards and procedures.
- Conduct safety checks before and after maintenance work.
- Promote a safety-first culture among technicians and contractors.
- Report and investigate any safety incidents or near misses.
Contractor Management:
- Supervise external contractors during maintenance and shutdown activities.
- Ensure contractors follow site safety protocols and work permits.
- Coordinate contractor schedules and verify job completion and quality.
- Maintain documentation related to contractor work and compliance.
Working Conditions:
- Rotational shifts including night shifts.
- Exposure to industrial environments, noise, and machinery.
- PPE and safety compliance mandatory.

Required Candidate Profile
Education/Training
Education: B. Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
Technical Skills:
- Knowledge of.
- Familiarity with PLCs, motors, pumps, conveyors, and utility systems.
Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Good communication and team coordination skills.
- Willingness to work in shifts and handle emergency situations.
Professional Experience
- How many years of professional experience in a specific professional area are required for the position
5 7 years in plant maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing or process industry .
