Maintenance Engineer

Role & responsibilities Plan, schedule, and execute preventive and corrective maintenance activities. Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control system faults. Develop and implement maintenance procedures, standards, and best practices. Support installation, testing, and commissioning of new equipment and systems. Analyze breakdowns and use root cause analysis to prevent recurrence. Maintain accurate maintenance records and equipment documentation. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Collaborate with other engineering teams and production departments to minimize disruptions. Preferred candidate profile Proven experience as a maintenance engineer or similar role in an industrial environment. Strong understanding of mechanical systems, electrical circuits, hydraulics, pneumatics, and PLCs. Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals. Proficiency with maintenance management systems (CMMS) and Microsoft Office tools. Excellent organizational and communication skills.
