Mainframe Tester

You are an experienced Mainframe Tester with a background in DB2, COBOL, and Mainframe batch processing. Your role involves performing functional and regression testing for Mainframe-based applications, writing, executing, and maintaining test cases for DB2 and COBOL programs, as well as analyzing and debugging issues in Mainframe batch jobs and applications. Collaboration with development and business teams is essential to ensure quality delivery. You will be working in an Agile environment, participating in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives. Your mandatory skills include hands-on experience in Mainframe Testing, strong knowledge of DB2, proficiency in COBOL, and experience with Mainframe Batch Processing & Debugging. Familiarity with Agile Testing Practices and tools like JIRA is also required. It would be beneficial if you possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
