Job Description

Role Overview:

Quality Assurance Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Perform
functional and regression testing
for mainframe applications (online and batch).
Execute
mainframe jobs
, validate batch processes, and ensure accurate file processing.
Collaborate with
development and business teams
in Agile environments to deliver high-quality solutions.
Participate in
conversion or migration projects
, ensuring smooth transition and data integrity.
Prepare and maintain
test cases, test data, and defect reports
in alignment with
SDLC/STLC standards
.

Required Skills:

Strong experience in
mainframe testing
(online and batch).
Hands-on with
JCL, COBOL, DB2, VSAM, and file processing
.
Knowledge of
Agile methodology
and QA best practices.
Familiarity with
test management tools
(e.g., ALM, Jira).
Ability to analyze and validate
data integrity during migrations
.
