Job Description

Job Title:

Mainframe Test Automation Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain automated test scripts for
COBOL, JCL, and CICS
mainframe applications.
Integrate test automation into
CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI)
.
Analyze test results, report defects, and ensure timely resolution.
Manage and maintain test data and environments.
Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test strategies and scenarios for custody operations.

Technical Skills Required:

Mainframe:
COBOL (Intermediate), JCL (Intermediate), CICS (Basic), REXX/CLIST (Basic), IBM z/OS (Intermediate).
Automation Tools:
IBM Rational Test, Micro Focus UFT, Selenium (Intermediate).
CI/CD Tools:
Jenkins, GitLab CI (Basic to Intermediate).
Database:
SQL/DB2 (Intermediate).
Version Control:
Git (Basic).
Methodologies:
Agile/Scrum (Basic).

Domain Expertise:

Strong understanding of
custody services and investment products
(mutual funds, equities, bonds, structured products).
Familiarity with
settlement processes, corporate actions, and reconciliation procedures
.
Knowledge of
regulatory and compliance requirements in investment custody
.
Experience with
investment lifecycle management
.

Qualifications:

Bachelors or Masters degree in IT or a related field.
At least 3 years of experience
in mainframe testing and automation.
