Job Description

Hiring for Mainframe DB2_Bangalore

Design, develop, and maintain
COBOL-DB2
programs on the IBM mainframe.
Write and optimize
complex SQL and DB2 queries
, stored procedures, and triggers.
Work with
JCL, TSO/ISPF
, and other mainframe tools to execute jobs and scripts.
Perform logical and physical
data modeling
, design DB2 table structures, indexes, and relationships.
Conduct
performance tuning
of SQL and database processes.
Analyze and resolve
production issues
related to DB2 applications.
Work closely with application developers, DBAs, and business analysts to meet project requirements.
Assist in
data migrations
,
batch processing
, and
data archiving
activities.
Participate in
code reviews
,
impact analysis
, and
unit/system testing
