Mainframe Developer

NTT DATA is looking to hire a Mainframe Developer to join the team in Noida, Uttar Pradesh (IN-UP), India. As a Senior Developer, you will be responsible for analyzing business and technical designs, leading the technical team through the build phase to project transition. Your role will involve writing code, programming, testing, debugging applications, and preparing documentation for installation and maintenance. Key Responsibilities: - Provide technical guidance and training to the technical team - Analyze technical solutions and lead the team to complete projects on time - Write efficient, reusable, and well-documented code - Design, code, test, debug, and document software following organizational standards and procedures - Debug critical problems and resolve complex technical issues - Engage in client interactions on technical matters - Drive engineering processes such as build automation, unit testing, and software configuration management - Provide technology expertise in at least one area - Offer application development expertise throughout SDLC phases Requirements: - Proficiency in COBOL, JCL, and DB2; IMS DB knowledge is a plus - Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development within the IT industry - Strong technical skills and knowledge of SDLC phases and estimation processes - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies - Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline preferred About NTT DATA: NTT DATA is a global innovator of business and technology services, with a commitment to helping clients innovate, optimize, and transform for long-term success.
