Description

We are seeking an experienced Mainframe Assembler to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mainframe programming and a passion for developing efficient, high-quality applications.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain mainframe applications using assembler language.
Analyze and troubleshoot existing assembler programs for performance improvements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement solutions.
Document code changes and maintain comprehensive documentation for applications.
Perform unit testing and support system integration testing.

Skills and Qualifications

Proficient in Assembler language and mainframe programming.
Experience with JCL (Job Control Language) and COBOL is a plus.
Strong understanding of mainframe architecture and operating systems.
Knowledge of debugging tools and techniques for mainframe applications.
Familiarity with database technologies such as DB2 or IMS.
Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
