Machinist

Job Summary:
We are currently looking for a skilled Manual Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating manual machines such as lathes, mills, and surface grinders. This role focuses on producing precise metal components according to technical drawings and specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate manual machine tools (lathe, milling machine, drill press, surface grinder, etc.)
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and job instructions
• Select proper tools, speeds, and feeds for each job
• Measure and inspect parts to ensure accuracy and quality
• Perform routine maintenance on machines and keep work area clean
• Follow safety procedures and company standards at all times

Requirements:

• Proven experience operating manual machines in a workshop or manufacturing setting
• Strong ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers)
• Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
• Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Trade qualification or technical training in machining (preferred but not required)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 24 months

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹28,000.00 per month
